Akrapovic Exhaust System for BMW M5 (G90,G99) - OPF/GPF 2025

Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (S-BM/T/37H)

This high-grade lightweight titanium exhaust system reduces weight by 31.8% (6.12 kg) over the standard stock exhaust, and it has been developed for cars with gasoline particulate filters. It is EC/ECE type approved. Complex parts have been cast at the in-house titanium foundry, including the exhaust valve housings and specially designed collectors. The main exhaust tubes have an increased diameter, and the system includes a special control kit, which uses valves to create a refined Akrapovic sound experience in all drive modes, delivering a deep and sporty tone. The system is finished with a mandatory set of either hexagonal or round carbon-fibre and titanium tailpipes (customer’s choice), both with integrated acoustic reflectors to reflect part of the external sound toward the cabin.

Power gains of 5.2 kW (7.1 hp) at 2,050 rpm and torque increases of 24.3 Nm at 2,050 rpm have been achieved when tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust. It is a simple plug-and-play installation, and no remapping is needed. When installing, the stock exhaust system must be cut. Please read the instructions carefully before starting the installation.

To further enrich the installation of the Slip-On Line (Titanium), Akrapovic has created several optional parts to complement the exhaust and increase the visual impact. Alongside the optional Tail Pipe Set (Carbon) with a hexagonal or round design, a hand-crafted Rear Carbon Fibre Diffuser and a Rear Lip (Carbon) are also available. An optional link pipe is available for those looking for even greater performance gains, along with the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit to control the sound, both developed for closed circuit usage. With the installation of these options, the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.

Akrapovic Tail Pipe Set (Carbon) for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (TP-CT/79)

This set features lightweight titanium tailpipes with a hand-made carbon-fibre outer sleeve. The hexagonal shape is a completely new design, making a clear statement that it has been developed for the BMW M5. The tailpipes come with integrated acoustic reflectors, which reflect part of the external sound toward the cabin and enhance the overall acoustic experience of an Akrapovic exhaust system. They are constructed from race-proven materials.

Akrapovic Tail Pipe Set (Carbon) for BMW M5 (G90, G99) 2025 (TP-CT/78)

This set is constructed from race-proven materials, such as lightweight titanium, and it features a hand-made carbon-fibre outer sleeve. It has a classic cylindrical design, similar to the cylindrical tailpipes of the Akrapovic exhausts for various BMW M models, with a fresh new look for the BMW M5. The tailpipes come with integrated acoustic reflectors, which reflect part of the external sound toward the cabin and enhance the overall acoustic experience of an Akrapovic exhaust system.

Akrapovic Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (E-BM/T/17)

Constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium, this set has been developed to be combined with the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust and increase performance. The X-connection, allowing gases from both sides of the engine to mix in a unique symphony, is cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The set delivers a weight reduction of 72.6% (19.56 kg) compared to the standard stock part. When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system, power gains of 8.5 kW (11.5 hp) at 6,150 rpm and torque increases of 15.6 Nm at 2,550 rpm have been achieved when tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust.

The acoustic feedback to the driver and passengers, the sound level, and the content evolve through the rpm and load, while enjoyable backfires accompany downshifts and a rich and comfortable sound is produced when cruising.

When installing the Akrapovic Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential “check engine light” warning signals. With the use of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.

Akrapovic Sound Kit for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (P-HF1638)

The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit enables owners of selected Akrapovic car exhausts to control the sound of the system from the cockpit of their machine. Using Akrapovic technology, drivers can easily switch between the quiet mode and a sportier sound. With the use of a receiver (already included in evolution system) to drive the actuators that either open the valves or setting them in a regulated mode at the end of the exhaust system, drivers can use the Sound Remote Controller to regulate the valves.

Akrapovic Rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser - High Gloss for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (DI-BM/CA/11/G)

This diffuser has been hand-made in house from lightweight carbon-fibre and comes with a high-gloss finish. This is a completely new design and an optional product for the BMW M5 (G90, G99). It keeps within the lines of the car and is designed to emphasize the sporty prowess of the Akrapovic Tail Pipe Set (Carbon). It is ABE approved.

The diffuser cannot be fitted on cars with a genuine trailer tow hitch.

Akrapovic Rear Lip (Carbon) for BMW M5 (G90, G99) (WI-BM/CA/2/G)

This is the first Akrapovic car rear lip, constructed from race-proven, lightweight carbon fibre. It is hand-made in house and finished in high gloss. This optional product fits the flowing lines of the car and is designed to enhance other Akrapovic products for the BMW M5 (G90), such as the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust with the Tail Pipe Set (Carbon) and the Rear Carbon Fibre Diffuser. It comes with ABE type approval and does not fit on the G99 version of the BMW M5.
